The Art of Jin Shin Jyutsu is also known as the "Art of Happiness" and the "Art of Longevity". Jin Shin Jyutsu physio-philsophy is an art of harmonizing the life energy in the body. In the early 1900's, Master Jiro Murai from Japan revived this art that had previously been passed down from generation to generation by word of mouth and had fallen into relative obscurity. This knowledge was passed to Mary Burmeister, who brought it to the United States in the 1950's. Mary began teaching the Art to others in the early 1960's. Faith had the opportunity to study directly with Mary in the late 1980's.
